Tot Tastics Club Rules
All participating individuals are expected to follow the rules set out below. If any individual does not adhere to any club rule set out below, the Club Coach in charge of the class has the authority to refuse to let the individual participate in any class. Likewise if any rules are broken during a class the Club Coach has the right to ask for a child to be removed if they deem it appropriate or to refuse to issue a transfer form where any club rules are broken, including where fees remain outstanding.
- All participating individuals should be appropriately dressed to undertake activities in a class, ie no clothing with belts, buckles or tassles or drawstrings. No shoes or socks to be worn during some classes (unless specific asked 2 do so) and no two piece leotards.
- No jewellery to be worn at any time during a class. This does also include recent ear piercing in which case a child must refrain from activities for insurance reasons please refer to our body piercing policy.
- Long hair must be tied back at all times during class to avoid impairment of vision, getting tangled on equipment or getting caught when a coach is supporting the gymnast.
- All individuals are expected to behave appropriately and any unruly behaviour (inc bullying, spitting, biting, rudeness and insubordination) will result in an individual being excluded from a class. The Club Coach in charge reserves the right to refuse re-entry to any child if there is continued inappropriate behaviour..
- Individuals should treat all coaches, equipment and apparatus with respect. Any individuals not treating coaches, apparatus or equipment with respect will not be permitted to participate within a class until such time as their behaviour is corrected.
- All fees are due termly in advance. This continues to apply if you decide to leave mid term for any reason. If fees remain outstanding for more than 2 weeks from the due date then interest is charged at 10% per day that fees remain outstanding. The club reserves the right to refuse the individual entry into classes until such time as fees are paid. If fees remain outstanding for more than 3 weeks from due date, the club reserves the right to offer the place to an individual from the waiting list and the place will therefore be forfeited.
- Once fees have been paid for the term no refund can be given unless medical grounds prohibit participation and a doctors certificate can be produced to support this.
- All participating individuals must have completed a Child Detail Form and it is the responsibility of parents/carers to update information if anything changes during the course of their membership. This form should be submitted prior to the child joining the club. The form must be submitted with relevant details to enable to club to register the child with BG for their membership and insurance purposes. Where a form is not submitted the Club is not responsible for the child’s non-registration. It is the responsible for the parent/carer to submit the form along with BG membership payment to ensure their child is covered by BG membership and the relevant insurances.
- A £20 fee is to be forwarded along with a Child Detail Form i if a place is not available immediately. This ensures being added to a waiting list from which places are offered on a first come first served basis. This £20 fee is returnable if at least four weeks notice prior to the end of term of withdrawing from a place is given otherwise this £20 is forfeited.
- It is a parent/carer’s responsibility to inform the club of any medical conditions in relation to any participating individual so that the club can design a suitable programme to allow the individual to obtain maximum benefit from classes and adjust coach/gymnast ratios accordingly if necessary. If appropriate a signed letter should be obtained from your doctor confirming that the individual can participate.
